How I spent memorial day...last year!

For me a normal memorial day means a good ole BBQ with friends or family
this year we are off to do a MEXICAN themed party! Lol but still with some great friends! 

However, Last year we spent memorial day on the beach of California and it was something great to help us remember....

Santa Monica Beach hosted an "in memory of fallen soldiers" memorial

It was so sad and surreal to see all the thousands of crosses that represented our fallen soldiers last year


Lets hope we can all keep the wonderful people in our heart and thoughts today for all they have done for us! 
Thank you to anyone who has served us, is serving for us, or has died for us! 
we appreciate you so much!
