summer days - my weekend!

Why is it that most summer days go by way to fast?

We wait ALL year for it to be summer and then BAM it's over so fast

I can NOT believe it is already into July...where has the time gone!? geesh! 

Anyway, enough ranting...Here's a little peek into our weekend :)

It was my husbands birthday on Friday the 8th

and besides just hanging out with the fam we had a friends son's bday party that night for the kids! SO FUN they rented a huge outdoor movie screen - the kids loved it!

BUT there's more...

I got the hubs tickets to go see
KENNY CHESNEY 

in concert on saturday and that was a BLAST!

 {we went up with some really good friends of ours}

 we enjoyed some nice family time down at the pool too...

 and what's more fun than having dad catapult you into the pool? :)

Then being that we live in UTAH and have wacky weather

we got a summer storm yesterday afternoon...

so what do you do when it's raining out?

BUILD A BIRD HOUSE

 Gotta make sure you are wearing your SAFETY GLASSES though! Lol

 And of course you have to paint it!
