I often like to sit back and reminisce of the "good ole days"
but sometimes that brings up some BAD memories that really make me think
"WHAT was I thinking???"

Ha!!! You're hilarious. I could write a book on "What was I thinking?". lol. When I was like 13, it was in style to shave the bottom half of your hair with a buzzer. Like a fool, I did it. A total what was I thinking moment. lol.

I do this ALL THE TIME....but I think what takes the cake is when I died my sister's hair what was supposed to be chocolate brown...well it came out spotted. :/
ReplyDeletehaha.... I am sure I have had plenty of these moments too but one I can think of was when I dyed my hair with chunky blonde streaks. Normally, this could be cute but not when you have dark hair, very dark eyebrows and olive skin. Not a cute combo. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes I am notorious for this, being a dork at heart. I think I got my hair braided on my honeymoon too, took them out that night as braids are not sexy! ha ha
ReplyDeleteMy biggest "What was I thinking" story was when I was 20 I thought it was a great idea to get my tongue pierced. WHAT? I am pretty conservative and I suppose this was my rebellion. I was so naive I had no idea what this might "mean". I am sure people thought all kinda crazy things about me. Seriously, what WAS I thinking??
I definitely wonder what I was thinking when I had the the "skunk streak" highlights! I also loved having my belly button pierced when I was 18, but now at 28 and post 2 babies, I do NOT love the star-stretchmarks the belly button piercing caused!
ReplyDeletehahah that's so funny! I actually think you looked cute with the braids. I used to part my bangs SUPER far over, we're talkin combover style. I have plenty of photos to prove my "what was I thinking moment" I'm still haunted to this day.

LOL! when i was a teenager i wanted my hair braided like christina aguilera soooo bad! I think you looked totally cute with it braided...the aftermath however...hehe!
ReplyDeleteI did the braids for girls camp every year, it was like tradition!! Now I would never do that to my daughter...
ReplyDeleteI have a what was I thinking on high school all the girls dressed up in skirts and boots, but I also had on a huge puffy vest and my boots were knockoff pink ugh boots that were a little to big. Basically I looked like a big ball of fluff!
Ugh..how about too much sun-in in my hair (brassy was an understatement) and super thin eyebrows! I now have to fill in the front of my brows with a pencil because they never quite grew back right! And, like so many others I had a pierced tounge (was actually stupid enough to have it done twice!) and a pierced belly button (also done twice) What was I thinking? That I was totally cool, totally hot, and "mature"'enough to do whatever I wanted to!
