I can finally show off my NEW Kitchen to You!

Lets start with the BEFORE shall we.....
Cause lets face it...you will NOT appreciate the AFTER unless you see the BEFORE ;)


Not BAD but not ME...I love light and bright....so after some BEGGING to the hubs and the in-laws {we rent from them} to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me re-do the kitchen...since our house was already a mess from the FLOOD DISASTER...we might as well get it done NOW...right? ;) 
well they FINALLY said yes and I immediately got to work!
I already knew the color schemes I wanted and I was able to find it ALL in one piece of TILE which became my INSPIRATION!!!
 Cream, blue, brown, and beige
PERFECTION!
soooo you ready for the AFTER....

 Did you notice my super cute "EAT" sign??
I am in LOVE with it....it is just the little added feature I needed!
It came from the etsy shop SIGNS OF VINTAGE
I told them exactly what I wanted and they created it!

I am in awe of it...I love it...it's my favorite room in the house now!
and I have such a sense of accomplishment that we did all the work OURSELVES ;)

    Love it! I love your backsplash & eat sign the most :). The white cabinets make it look bigger. We just fixed our kitchen too but still need new counter tops, backsplash, & I want diff. flooring.

    DEFINITELY brightened up...and looks less like a standard builder kitchen and more like a personality filled kitchen.

    Um, will you come do that to my house when we buy? All the houses I've been looking at are the same oak/ugly color. I hate them, and won't buy any of the houses because of it, but I'm not talented enough to make them look good either by painting them!

    LOVE the kitchen... oh I am so dreading doing ours!! EEKS. Did you paint the cabinets? We are painting ours white. REdoing our floors (tiling), new countertops, backsplace and of course a paint job. DREADING! If it is anything like the bathroom it will take double the amount of time (bathroom took 4 months!)

    Beautiful! It's amazing what paint can do! I LOVE LOVE the tile, I wish I had a tile backsplash. I am in the process of painting my kitchen cuboards cream colored, they are like yours. I love how it's turning out, but it's taking me forever! I can't wait to show my kitchen off too. :)

    Looks Fabulous! Congrats on such a lovely accomplishment! That EAT sign is perfect.

    We redid our kitchen a similar way. We took off our old cabinet doors, painted the bases vanilla milkshake, then ordered and painted new doors from www.Rockler.com with lovely beaded molding and it made a HUGE difference. So much better than buying new cabinets and the kichen looks completely different. Enjoy!!
