Anyway...as you know I have a BIG crush on the CHEVRON pattern right now and my silhouette makes it SO easy for me to create beautiful things in my fav pattern!
I just made a darling Chevron vase using the frosted vinyl from silhouette!~

great your pattern in your silhouette program OR choose from one in their library!
{I colored and printed mine first on paper to see how it would fit/look on my vase}
Once I knew I LOVED it I printed it using my silhouette using the frosted vinyl.
Then I peeled away all the excess vinyl and pressed my design on the transfer paper
{I had to cut my design in half to fit my vase all the way around}
You then peel away the back of the vinyl sheet and are ready to press the design down on to your vase
slowly peel up the transfer paper and smooth the vinyl down as you do
and there you have it :)
I love the frosted vinyl because it gives the effects of etched glass with out the commitment or the work!
I didn't have any fresh flowers on hand so I used it as a candle holder for now :)

ReplyDeleteso... I'm a little special.. I can't figure out how to get the awesome deal with the silhouette. I actually had never heard of the machine before until you blogged about it when you made your pillow. I.AM.IN.LOVEEE with the machine! I have to have one! I've been trying to talk my hubby into just giving me $300 for the machine, but it's not working to well for me. I'm fairly certain if I show him what a GREAT deal this is he wont be able to resist either. I went to the website (I go everyday to drool and wish) but I don't know where to go to get all the extra stuff. Thanks!
