Braided fabric necklace {{tutorial}}

I LOVE to wear necklaces and earrings in the summer! 

It's a great way to add some color to plain jeans and t shirt day

BUT

I hate heavy bulky stuff, especially in the heat :-/ 

I found the perfect solution! 

 A Fabric Braided Necklace

Here's how to make one for yourself :

SUPPLIES :

Chain

clasp

2 jump rings

Yummy colored fabric of choice

{three strips of each color}

end clasps {as pictured}

HOW TO : 

pick one of your fabric colors

pinch or tie a knot in the end of it and secure it to something

{you can safety pin it onto something or I pinch it between my toes...lol}

after you have braided that piece add your clasp to each end 

 Repeat with all colors

now you can add your chain

I wanted these to be one necklace

so I put it on the peach first and then 7 links up I added a jump ring and added the Blue fabric

 Simple as that - your done!

Easy, light weight, fun, colorful and cute!

{i was going to use all three colors but I liked it simpler with just the two}
