LOL, you're too funny! Thanks for sharing, it makes me feel better about my messy house! Also, I'm pretty sure we have the same iron (from not sure where) and ironing board (ikea), haha. And I LOVE the rug that is right next to them in the picture, where is that from???
ReplyDeleteDido... to ALLL of that... um except the last one.. AT least you had a shower today.. me total failure face at that one! I rolled out of bed after pushing snooze 3 times! Ugh.. rushed to get my 8 year old to the bus stop, and my two little boys breakfast. haha

i love the pretend game!!! can i just pretend i have tons of money, a big, i mean giangantic, house and an awesome car parked up front? oh, while we're at it, can i pretend i'm not at work but sitting on my deck, beer in hand, reading a book under the sun? ahh... thanks for that. felt like a mini vacation ; )

I fact, i texted my mom the other day and said "I am so sorry for going behind you and messing up freshly cleaned rooms."
Gosh... I can't keep not even one single room clean without someone {usually me ;) } going in behind me and causing ruckess.
This has got to be one of my favorite posts so far! I'm so glad there is a fabulous, talented and beautiful person out there that sometimes has a mess like mine at home! I'm gonna pretend that I'm not 6 months pregnant and exhausted and try to tackle some projects and messes that need tending to!
ReplyDeleteI took pictures Tuesday so that by Sunday I can take after pictures showing how CLEAN my house is... Seriously it's Thursday and it still looks the same, except now I have shopping bags all over... crud! :) Thanks for keeping it real. Sometimes in blogland you can feel like you are a terrible housekeeper. Shoot, get off the computer, Emily, so that you can have a clean house in 3 days!
ReplyDeleteI love the pretend game! My sister and I used to play that CONSTANTLY when we were younger. In particular, we would pretend our "husbands" were in trouble and we had to rescue them - the woman rescues the man for a change!

That's hilarious!!! I hear ya! I wanna pretend all our stuff is moved to our new house... That my car isn't loaded down with LOTS of things to unload after work... That it's clean and I can just go home to dinner tonight instead of load and unload more stuff... haha!

ReplyDeleteI'll play pretend with you! Can I just tell you what a breath of fresh air it is to see your house? I see so many bloggers show their "mess" which consists of maybe two magazines and a water bottle on their kitchen counter. My house looks like yours :)
