My kids have really been wanting to make a
Duct Tape Wallet
this summer!
So we went to Walmart and bought some fun duct tape colors and went to town!
Start with at least one roll of tape...more if you want it to be multi colored!
STEP TWO : sticky side up...slightly over lap the four pieces
STEP EIGHT : using the other half of your length wise piece...tear it up to seal off the edges of your "pockets" - middle, bottom and sides
*if you did not make pockets - just cut another strip of tape and seal off the two sides to close your "wallet" and make the slot for the money*
duct tape wallet!

HAPPY CRAFTING!
This was such a fun project to do with my kids...it was great to see them using their imaginations and how fast they picked up on how to make them!

STEP ONE : tear 4 strips about 7-8 inches long
STEP TWO : sticky side up...slightly over lap the four pieces
Step Three : Repeat step ONE and lay the four pieces on top of the four you already have overlapped
this will create a the main body of the wallet.
STEP FOUR : trim off the sides of the tape piece leaving it nice and clean and free of "sticky" it should be about 7-8 inches long total
STEP FIVE : cut another strip about the lenght of your "wallet" maybe a little longer
If you want to use an antoher color to add contrast you can
tear this strip in HALF length wise
put it on each side of the "wallet" halfway and fold the other half over leaving a clean edge now
trim the excess off the sides
STEP SIX : *optional* if you want pockets in your wallet now is the time
Cut THREE pieces about 14 inches long each
{if you are not doing pockets - skip to step EIGHT} lay TWO of the pieces on top of each other
{this will make the pockets}
take the third and cut it in half length wise
use it to make a clean edge on the top of the "pockets"STEP SEVEN : cut that double sided piece of tape into FOUR equal pieces
STEP EIGHT : using the other half of your length wise piece...tear it up to seal off the edges of your "pockets" - middle, bottom and sides
*if you did not make pockets - just cut another strip of tape and seal off the two sides to close your "wallet" and make the slot for the money*
AND NOW YOUR DONE!
You have just made a duct tape wallet!
