So OBVIOUSLY 'Staches are ALL the craze right now...
and with THREE LITTLE {who not so little anymore} MEN in my life
MUSTACHE'S are the perfect accessory for THEM!
*my cousin Amber emailed me telling me she saw a MUSTACHE mirror idea from the SKY MALL magazine...and while it was affordable it wasn't that cute....*
I introduce to you
THE MUSTACHE MIRROR
*PS - it is REALLY hard to take a picture of a mirror :-/ it picks up everything in the background...so sorry for the bad pics!*
This mirror was SUPER easy and fast and affordable to make!!!
Here's what you need:
{if you don't have one just trace and cut the 'staches out of vinyl. You can purchase the vinyl HERE from Silhouette}
Mirror
{mine was part of a 6 pack from walmart for only $8.49}
HOW TO:
Go into your SILHOUETTE design program and lay out your mustaches
{all three of mine were purchased in the online silhouette store}
*if you do not have the silhouette you can search for images on google or free hand them onto vinyl and just cut them out*
Print out your design
Peel away the negative space on your design
*everything but the mustaches*
Using your Silhouette Transfer paper...
lay it over the mustaches and press firmly
Now you are ready to place your 'staches on your mirror
Be sure you measure out where you want it to go before you place it down
Peel away the back of the transfer paper (the solid white side)
place your design firmly on the mirror and using a credit card or something similar press firmly along the decal
peel away the transfer paper
and
YOU HAVE A NEW MUSTACHE MIRROR~
This was my first design...so when my kids looked in the mirror it looked like they had mustaches :)
But I also made this one
But I also made this one
that I am going to frame and hang in my boys bathroom!
NOW GO GET YOUR 'STACHE ON!!!

ok that is seriously cute! I just might have to try that out... I love how guests will innocently turn around to catch a quick glance in the mirror and be surprised to see that they have grown a 'stach!

Who knew mustaches could be so cute? If you position your reflection just right, does it look like you HAVE a mustache? Fun!!

What a very creative idea! And how funny would this be on an entryway mirror as guests walk through the door? We visited a wax museum a few years back that had things like this in their bathroom, what a blast we had in there!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute and so true about taking a picture of a mirror.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that??? Visiting from Coastal Charm...Happy New Year! Laurel@chippingwithcharm
